Dear Brethren,
The Church would like to thank the members for responding favourably to the shareholders’ invitation that was sent in June 2022. The members who will fulfil this role or its equivalent have indicated their availability. The Church is now ready to make an offer on a property. The Church is now appealing for pledges to enable it to make the offer to the seller to obtain the results described below.
1. Once Off/Lump-sum Pledges
Reduce the capital to be borrowed on the mortgage to a minimum, which will be partially covered by the once-off pledges. The once-off or lump-sum pledges shall lapse on 31 December 2022.
2. Monthly Pledges
Have the capacity to repay the mortgage over the shortest possible period, through monthly pledges. The Church shall require R20 000 per month which includes the insurance and taxes.
3. Partial Guarantee
In this case a member pledges to make a payment towards the mortgage repayment in the unlikely event that there is shortfall. The amount will be reimbursed by the Church at later date.

Once you submit your pledge on the Google form, your pledge will be redirected to the treasury and please be rest assured that your pledge will be treated as confidential. The treasury shall report to the Church in an aggregated fashion the number of pledges, amounts received and the rate at which the pledges have been honoured every two weeks.
